Working together
- How do we start?
- Send us a message describing what you have in mind, in whatever words you would use to explain it to a friend. We reply within a day, usually with questions. If it looks like a fit, we have a call, and you get a written scope and a fixed price before committing to anything. The conversation is always free.
- Do I need to know what I want technically?
- No, and it is better if you do not try. Describe the problem and who has it. Deciding the technical shape is the part you are paying us for, and a specification written in borrowed jargon usually hides the real requirement.
- How do you communicate during a project?
- A short written update and something working to look at every week, plus a shared channel for anything in between. You talk directly to the people building it. We do not do month-long silences followed by a reveal.
- What if I want to change something mid-project?
- Small changes are normal and we absorb them. Anything that meaningfully changes the scope gets re-quoted before we do the work, so you always decide with the cost in front of you rather than finding it on an invoice.

Money and ownership
- What does a project cost?
- It depends entirely on scope, and anyone quoting before understanding yours is guessing. As a rough shape: a focused marketing site is usually a few weeks of work, and a platform with logins, payments and an admin area is a few months. You get a fixed written price before starting.
- Do I own the code?
- Yes, completely. The repository is in your name from day one and every account we create is registered to you. If you decide to move to another team, nothing needs rebuilding and nothing is held back.
- What does a software development company in Sri Lanka charge, compared to elsewhere?
- Generally less than an agency in Australia, the UK or the US for the same standard of work, because Sri Lankan rates are lower without the quality having to be. We quote a fixed price after scoping, so you can compare it directly against any other quote you're getting. We're comfortable with that comparison.
- What happens after launch?
- We hand over the code, the accounts and written documentation, then stay available for whatever comes next. Ongoing support is a separate arrangement you opt into. It's never an automatic retainer, and never a condition of getting your own software.

About us
- You're based in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Does that work if I'm not?
- Most of our clients are not. We work to your hours for calls and keep everything written down so progress does not depend on being awake at the same time. The time difference usually means work happens overnight from your side, which most people find they like.
- You are an independent company. What if you disappear?
- A fair question to ask any independent agency. Our answer is structural rather than reassuring words: your code is in your repository, your infrastructure is defined in code you own, and the handover documentation is written for someone who has never met us. If we vanished tomorrow, another team could pick it up.
- Do you use AI to write the code?
- Yes, for a meaningful share of it, and we think pretending otherwise would be dishonest. It makes us considerably faster. It also produces confident-looking mistakes, so every change goes through senior review plus automated checks aimed at the failure modes AI specifically has. You are paying for the judgement applied to the output, which is the part that has always been the job.
